The Schlossalm generation project is also currently receiving a great deal of investment. NEW: from December 2018, guests will be able to enjoy a comfortable 10-passenger cable car, in which they can reach the ideal routing point without needing to change cable cars, as well as enjoying an attractive trip all the way down to the middle station. With a new storage pond and snow-making system extensions, there is an even more reliable guarantee of snow.
The Alpentherme Gastein is a source of energy in the mountains. As well as great health expertise, it offers the treasure of authentic thermal water from the depths of the Hohe Tauern mountains, which is used not only in the thermal bath but also in the facilities offered by the connected spa and rehabilitation centre. Klaus Lemmerer, General Manager of the Alpentherme Gastein, is convinced that, “faced with competition from many other thermal health resorts, our quality and the extraordinary experience we offer give us an advantage.” The aim is to continuously improve this quality. The connected spa and rehabilitation centre was extensively renovated and modernised in 2011.
